Meet my sweet intern. . .Lynne!

It's funny how things work in this small, small world.  Last year I got bit by the wedding bug!  I decided to do a Bridal Package Give Away to draw in some ladies that needed bridal photographs.  As I was getting entries in I met Lynne.  In her email she went on to tell me a little bit about her and her love, Billy.  She let me know that it would be so great if they won because they didn't have a photographer to capture their wedding date and she thought it would be so great to at least have photographs of her in her dress.

I knew when she sent me that email that I was going to offer to photograph their wedding at no cost.  We got in touch with one another and she accepted!  I had my very first wedding on the schedule!  AHHHH!  I knew I was a little unprepared.  Due to my lack of attending weddings as a guest, I had no idea how a wedding panned out schedule wise and equipment - I didn't have much or know much about it.

So SUPER long story short!  :)  I photographed their wedding last year and Lynne and I have kept in touch ever since.  She has been sending me messages on Facebook asking me questions about my lenses, my camera settings, flashes and so on.  Lynne has always had a passion for photography and was dying for more info on how to perfect her skills.  About two months ago she sent me a message letting me know she was ready for some one-on-one training.

I had it in the back of my mind that I was ready to work with an intern.  As soon as I got this message from her I just knew Lynne was the one!
Meet Lynne!

It's so wonderful to have Lynne here working in my office.  She is soaking everything up like a sponge!  :) She will be coming along on lots of photo shoots with me so I thought I would go ahead and introduce her to y'all!

She just started up her Facebook fan page.  Go and "like" it so you can follow Lynne's journey!

Today after I took Lynne's head shots, I informed her that she had her first photo shoot!  lol  I set some props up in the yard, dressed up RyAnne and I and let Lynne work some photo magic.  Here are her images from the day. . .

Love.
H.
