Britteny + Kurt | Monroe, Georgia Wedding

Kurt came along for the annual Lewis family trip to Jack's Creek Christmas Tree Farm.  You see Britteny's mom found out he had plans of proposing and she was ready for it to happen sooner than later. lol  She's not that great at keeping a secret. . .Soooo, it needed to happen before she said something.  As Britteny was telling me their engagement story she recalls, "Kurt was acting so weird.  He wanted me to come and look at this Christmas tree. . ."  She had no idea what she was about to find in it.  An engagement ring tied to a branch with ribbon.  And then it all made perfect since!

Here is a link to their engagement session I photographed over the summer.  :)

On October 13th, 2012, at her Mom + Dad's log home in Monroe, Georgia, they became husband + wife.

Work it ladies!

Kurt had tears in his eyes when he saw Britteny walking down the isle.

The sunset was breathing taking.  LOVE!

STUNNING shot from my incredible second photographer. . .Miram Fincher!

And of course we couldn't forget the ever so famous Forest Gump pose! lol

This is a perfect idea for outdoor weddings.  :)  A bug spray station.

This is Kurt's brother giving a toast.  I wish I could have recorded it.  He had us all laughing!

And Mrs. Sabrina had us all in tears.  Britteny used to babysit her children (and dog baby, too!).

This is Britteny's sweet Mom + Dad giving their toast.

She could hardly contain herself!  lol  She had a big surprise for Kurt!

BAM!

Kurt took it really well!

Congratulations Britteny + Kurt!  Your wedding was absolutely gorgeous!  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this important day!

Love.
H.
